Do I need to collect cost share from clients or does CCS send them a bill?

CCS does NOT collect any funds from any clients and never sends bills to clients. You as the clinician collect any and all cost share the client owes per session and retain those funds.

If your client has a copay, you collect it and will then be reimbursed the remaining amount by CCS after the insurance company pays out.

If your client has a deductible, you collect the full contract rate (as specified in the benefit verification). That will apply to the client's deductible when the claim processes with insurance.

If your client no-shows or late-cancels, you determine the cost and charge accordingly. CCS does not dictate that for you.
