Why can’t I be credentialed with United Healthcare and/or Aetna in a state that I am virtual-only?

At this time, for states that CCS has never operated in before or have limited operation in, clinicians will need to have an in-person office location in that state in order to be eligible to become in-network with United Healthcare and Aetna under CCS.

These two insurance companies updated their credentialing processes and now this is a requirement. We will update the whole collective if this ever changes in the future.
